Our affiliation with China Construction Bank Corporation through their shareholding in Rand-Asia, affords us a unique ability to foster and support trade finance between Africa and the People's Republic of China by combining our in-depth understanding of African risk with our partner's extensive presence in the Asian market.
The company was founded by a management team that has vast experience in the field of structured trade and commodity finance. This team continues to attract new high calibre people and business partners as it grows and expands its service.

• Electronic components and equipment.
• The automotive industry.
• The construction industry and building materials.
• Paper and related products.
• Donor sponsored trade and Aid related programs.
One of our key objectives is to continualy develop our knowledge of new markets, in addition to sharing our experience of the markets in which we operate with other financial institutions.
Rand-Asia’s participation in the risk and funding of deals, structured by other financial institutions, has enabled us to build a network of diverse financiers operating in a broad band of varied markets.
It is this network of syndication partners that affords us access to most international markets, with a srong emphasis on African risk, which complements our skills in Asia.
The structuring of Trade Finance solutions for capital projects is a related service that we provide. This service encompasses the structuring of term loans, which uses the trade flow proceeds emanating from the business, to service the original loan. Projects that we have financed to date include the rehabilitation of infrastructure in the petroleum sector and stock-pile sites / tailings and factories processing primary commodities into finished goods.
